How to Request a Data Migration

Our Data Migration Service helps schools move existing information into your Faria product accurately and securely. We support migrations from spreadsheets, legacy systems, or other providers, with validation and secure transfer processes.

Requirements - what we need from you

  1. A copy of your current data files (CSV, Excel, PDF or database export)
  2. A list of modules to import - for example: Students, Staff, Classes, Enrolments, Units, Standards, Reports etc.
  3. Your preferred go-live date and any immovable deadlines
  4. A designated project contact at your school for approvals and clarifications
  5. Any licensing or proof-of-purchase details required for third-party data

Please note: Timelines may be extended during peak periods, particularly in July-September when many schools prepare for the new academic year.

  2. Scope review - our team reviews files, confirms scope, and provides a quote and timeline
  3. Data mapping - collaborative session to map legacy fields to Faria fields
  4. Test import - we run sample imports for validation and corrections
  5. Full import - perform final import and reconciliation with your approvals
  6. Post-import QA - validation checks and handover documentation

Pricing & approvals

Migration projects are scoped and quoted based on complexity and volume. After scope confirmation you will receive a written quote and project plan. Work begins after formal approval and purchase order.
